Been out of touch, hey!

Well, I haven't posted much here in the past year, have I? Well, here's to hoping I can get some pics posted and keep things updated! Cheryl

Mitch and his leg

Mitch had leg surgery on Tuesday the 25th. He had a bone tumor/growth on his right leg, just above his knee. The surgery was quick..about 45 minutes but the rehab will take longer. All went well and he is slowly on the way to recovery. We had to wait for the volleyball season to be over, of course, and this is the first winter he isn't playing club volleyball in four years. The surgery was his choice as to when it was done, but he made the decision based on the occassional shooting pain and the swelling of his knee area when he biked or ran. The growth is random and isn't believed to be cancerous. They don't know why he had it, what caused it or if he will get any more in his life. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We did, as there is so much to be thankful for.

The Team

Well, a little bad news today. The boy's lost last night which ended their run to take State. The other team was on fire and good luck to them today! The boys had a great season and made school history for being the first time Boy's Volleyball making it to State. They should be so proud of their achievements!! We are!

Mitch and his volleyball team just won their match and are going to State! They beat CMH, a very tough and top competitor!! How exciting! I must say, I give a lot of credit to all of them and their coaches!! GO LASERS!! Pictures and more to follow tomorrow!!

Hello!!

Hello Everyone,
It's been a very busy fall, and I am really slow at this blog thing. Sorry!! I hope to upload some pictures too over the next few days. Mitch's volleyball team has huge game tonight!! GO Lasers!! Two weeks ago we got to visit with Marty and Michelle for a little bit when they came up to see their son graduate from Navy bootcamp. Hope to start update more this weekend!
